Since 1980

Golden State Date, Inc. is a family- owned and operated business. We’ve been around since 1980 when the late founder, Abdul Mustafa opened his first store in La Mesa, California called 'Best Produce'. Since then, the business expanded to distribution and exclusively focused on medjool Dates.

While we continually strive for innovation at Golden States Dates to improve production, we’re still focused on producing the highest quality dates in the world. As such, we are the largest distributor in Southern California with more demand than supply.
